More games playing
Since we all love our games and like to multiplay, we have an extra special surprise! There will be extra consoles to play on in the form of a 360 and Wii. On the 360 we will be having Rockband and SF4 (with joysticks)! We will also have as a VERY special guest the UK SNES Mario Kart champion, Sami Cetin. He will be taking on challenges throughout the event before 7pm on Mario Kart, *SNES*. Pay to challenege the guy and if you beat him....a VERY special prize will be heading your way!
and finally
With all the stuff above, it's like a mini games festival! You will truly be missing out on a fun event if you can't attend! There will be some chargers but please bring a spare just in case (we will have sticky labels in case of mix ups). Plus the only games we recommend bringing is Mario Kart and Worms 2. Apart from that...bring what you see fit! However, you are responsible to looking after your stuff, so please don't go throwing and lending carts around if you plan to have a few pints of the good stuff ;)
Main info
DS:London will be hosting a charity event in aid of Red Nose Day. We had a blast doing the last couple of tournaments, so we thought to do another! The event will take place on Saturday 7th March at the The Gallery Bar, ULU from 2pm till late. Registration on the day be between 2pm and 4pm. We are aiming to hit between 50-100 gamers on the day and raise at least £200.
As before we are going to project most of the tournaments on a screen so that everyone can participate in the action, shouting and screaming is whole heartedly recommended! The Gallery Bar, will be privately hired out for this event and is a very nice place to area with plenty of seating (including sofa's!) along with being a union bar (cheap beer - wahoo!). Please note that the venue is a bar and so there may be an over 18's policy. Sorry kids.
